This 1995 ad from Colombia promoting hot chocolate definitely has a Latin feel to it.

For some reason, this film always made us laugh, so we around 2006 or 2007 (I forget when) we went ahead and dubbed the film into a comedy (ala Woody Allen’s “What’s Up Tiger Lily?”). Unfortunately, the first few minutes are just a rephotographed TV, while the rest of it is from a TV copy. It took months for us to come up with the right dialogue to insert, and it was all performed by the three of us. The process was primitive; using two VCRs and a Camcorder’s mic, recording all the sound live to the recording of the footage. The music is from John Barry’s score for Thunderball (1965), and the opening theme is Night in Tunisia by Dizzy Gilespie. You might not think this is funny all the way through, but the few things that stand out make it all worth while.
Enjoy!

The story continues, as Jack Ryan (Harrison Ford) and John Clark (Willem Dafoe) must recue a small team of Commandos held captive in a columbian coffee factory, while on a secret raid of coffee beans by the U.S. Government. Something I failed to explain in clear detail in this version is that Clark gave his men coupons for Burger King instead of delivering full rations. High cholestral levels and fatigue from over eating was a factor in the ease of thier capture in Columbia. Hope you can follow the rest.
